You will support our registered pharmacists across daily dispensary and retail operations. This role suits someone who takes pride in accuracy, communicates warmly, and wants to build practical pharmacy experience without losing sight of the person in front of them.

What you will do

Support prescription processing and dispensing under a pharmacist’s supervision.
Guide customers through routine product enquiries with clear, respectful service.
Maintain accurate stock records, expiry checks, and organized displays.
Prepare the counseling area and support smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations.

What we are looking for

SPM, STPM, Diploma in Pharmacy, or another related qualification.
Careful attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Comfort communicating in a warm, plain-language manner.
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work closely with pharmacists.

Patient & Community Customer Care

Front-Desk & Counter Service: Greet walk-in customers warmly at the retail counter, offering approachable guidance and tailored assistance to the local community.
Prescription Intake & Registration: Receive prescription orders, accurately register patient details in the POS or dispensing system, and help maintain precise prescription record books in line with local regulatory requirements.
Customer & Product Advisory Support: Provide friendly product advice and health recommendations.
POS & Cashiering Operations: Operate the retail Point-of-Sale system, process cash, card, and e-wallet payments, and manage customer loyalty sign-ups.

Dispensing Support & Poisons Handling

Poisons Handling & Dispensing Support: Assist the Registered Pharmacist in retrieving, packing, and accurately dispensing scheduled poisons in strict accordance with the Poisons Act and Ministry of Health standards.
Labeling & Packaging: Affix precise prescription labels and ensure safe packaging before pharmacist sign-off.
Dispensary Hygiene & Verification Preparation: Organize prepared prescriptions for final verification by the Pharmacist and maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation across dispensary counters.
Record Keeping & Compliance Books: Assist in updating regulatory documentation, including prescription books (Form C), codeine and pseudoephedrine preparation logs, and temperature monitoring records.

Inventory Management & Operations

Stock Receiving & Shelving: Unpack incoming shipments, check items against purchase orders or invoices, and stock retail shelves and dispensary counters systematically.
Inventory Control & FEFO Management: Perform regular stock counts, follow First-Expiry, First-Out stock rotation, track expiring goods, and prepare stock return or disposal documentation.
Premises & Storage Maintenance: Monitor locked cold-chain refrigerator temperature logs and ensure overall retail premises hygiene meets Ministry of Health guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Strictly follow Malaysian pharmacy laws, Ministry of Health pharmacy enforcement directives, and internal company SOPs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: SPM, STPM, Diploma in Pharmacy, or another related qualification.
Experience: Preferably one or more years of retail, healthcare, or customer service experience. Fresh graduates are welcome, and prior pharmacy-setting experience is a major advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and fast typing skills. Experience using a POS system is desirable.
Core Competencies: Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication, strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment, and absolute integrity when handling confidential health records.

Compensation & Benefits

Basic Salary: RM2,500–RM3,500 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Allowances & Incentives: Monthly attendance allowance, retail sales incentives, and target achievement incentives.
Overtime: Calculated strictly in accordance with the Malaysian Employment Act.
Statutory Contributions: Full employer contributions for EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), and the Employment Insurance System (EIS).
