You will bring evidence-informed nutrition knowledge into everyday pharmacy conversations. Working alongside our pharmacists, you will help customers understand food choices, supplements, and realistic lifestyle changes in a way that feels supportive—not overwhelming.

What you will do

Provide practical health and nutrition consultations to retail customers.
Recommend suitable dietary changes, functional foods, and supplements based on customer needs.
Work with pharmacists to support safe, holistic customer care.
Support branch sales, health events, and customer follow-up consultations.

What we are looking for

A Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Science, Dietetics, Food Science & Nutrition, or a related Allied Health discipline.
Excellent communication skills and a supportive, education-first approach—helping customers understand their health conditions and the practical steps they can take, without hard selling.
Customer-service oriented, proactive, and comfortable initiating conversations.
English and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.

Retail Consultation & Customer Advisory

Retail Consultations: Provide floor-level health and nutritional consultations to retail customers.
Screening Guidance: Interpret basic point-of-care screening results, including blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and body composition, and recommend actionable dietary changes.
Nutrition & Product Advice: Advise customers on therapeutic diets, functional foods, and dietary supplements based on their health goals and lifestyle.
Holistic Care: Partner with Pharmacists to ensure recommended nutritional products do not conflict with customer medications.

Retail Sales & Store Performance

Sales Targets: Achieve monthly individual and branch sales targets for nutrition, supplement, and wellness categories.
Customer Recommendations: Actively cross-sell and up-sell relevant nutrition products.
Inventory Control: Monitor product expiry dates, assist with inventory control, and ensure high-demand nutrition items are well stocked.
Visual Merchandising: Maintain clean, engaging product displays and execute promotional merchandising pushes on the retail floor.

Branch Health Events & Community Engagement

Health Campaigns: Conduct routine in-store health screening campaigns and promotional nutrition events to attract footfall.
Health Education: Deliver mini health talks or product demonstrations in-store and at local community outreach events.
Customer Follow-up: Build customer loyalty through follow-up consultations and by tracking customer health progress.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Science, Dietetics, Food Science & Nutrition, or a related Allied Health discipline.
Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured retail sales and product training provided. At least one year of experience in retail pharmacy, FMCG health sales, or nutraceutical retail is a strong advantage.
Key Competencies: Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical nutrition science into clear, practical guidance. You should be customer-service oriented, proactive, and comfortable initiating supportive conversations that help customers understand their health conditions and the steps they can take—without relying on hard-selling techniques.
Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

Basic Salary: RM2,800–RM4,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Allowances & Incentives: Monthly attendance allowance, retail sales incentives, and target achievement incentives.
Overtime: Calculated strictly in accordance with the Malaysian Employment Act.
Statutory Contributions: Full employer contributions for EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), and the Employment Insurance System (EIS).
